Shot taken on the way to Melbourne from Geelong, on the Princes Highway. Fluked it too, was at the front passenger seat, twisted my arm as I stuck the cam out the window, and clicked without looking at the lcd screen. After seeing results, I made sure I got a proper one... that's what you're seein above ^
Very nice picture.
I especially like the way the sun is reflected by the windows of the car and the perspective. It's also very well framed considering the way you shot it
Boy, it'd be hard to keep it stable, but how cool would it be to have the ground blurred to show a little motion. I wonder if you couldn't do a little manip to give the feeling of motion.
I swear, one day I'm going to get to Austrailia. My dream vacation...
P.S. What's the with the railroad track white line on the road? That's the first time I've ever seen that...
I'm no photoshop person at all... would prolly have to play around with it for like an hr till I'd be able to get that motion blur done properly on just the road... I'm an absolute noob at it.
Those white lines... umm, they use'em here on Australian highways... so that if you start to get a lil drowsy and begin to swerve off the road, the tires will hit these small bumps, and at 100km/h it gives off a humming sound that'll hopefully remind you to get back on track
Thats a gorgeous view of the highway. Ive tried alot of times to get somthing good from that highway, I always knew it had potential.
And there it is.
At least someone finally got it right, brilliant work!

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
